Three things you need to know about the real estate market

Three things you need to know about the real estate market

Is anyone else having trouble making sense of the real estate market?
You’ve heard all the headlines:
“The Real Estate Market is HOT”  “Unprecedented price increases”
“Lowest Inventory in decades” “Housing Market on Steroids”
“Area home prices take biggest-ever 12-month leap”
“Home buyers face stiff competition” “Another record-breaking spike in home prices”

With heated messages like these coming at us every day, it’s no wonder we’re all a little freaked out and confused about what to do next.  The real estate market is complex, and many economic factors go into understanding the whole picture.  To simplify, here are 3 things you need to know.

1. Low supply + strong demand = rapid sale pace and higher prices

Of course you know this. When we say the market is “ ...

4 Essential Tips for Homebuyers in Today's Market

So you’ve decided to take the plunge and start looking for a new house!  Exciting...right? I mean, it should be.  And it can be if you are prepared.  Let me rephrase that: Don’t even think about looking for a new house without some advance prep-work!  I’m sure you’ve heard all the stories of multiple offers, low inventory, and general discouragement about the market. Bringing Everyone Home

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT! EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT! EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!

Did you notice our new logo?  While this isn’t the exciting news, it is a result of our news! In our business we have the honor and privilege of helping people find their perfect home: a sanctuary to raise a family, a secure place to plan the future, a blank canvas to build their lives. There are many definitions of home, but when asked the question, “what does home mean to you?”, the words we hear over and over again are comfort, security, safety, happiness, freedom. We are blessed to be in a business where our work results in such positive changes in the lives of our clients.  HOWEVER, not everyone is so fortunate.  Too many people in our community are left without shelter as the homelessness crisis grows.
At The Hill Team, we’ve always had a giving-centered approach to business.  We believe that it is our responsibility to give back to the community that has givm ...

Oh, did I mention that we were washing dishes in the bathtub?  I digress.

Obviously this was a temporary problem for us, but I understan ...
